  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Can Counselling help you?

Counselling helps you by providing a guided approach to self-discovery. It helps you to gain clarity on your goals and develop practical strategies to enhance your everyday wellbeing. This focused collaboration is designed to empower you to make useful changes for your future.

NICE suggests counselling for:
  • Depression

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye movement desensitisation reprocessing directs your eye movements to affect how your mind processes data. The technique attempts to reprocess your frozen traumatic memories. The objective of eye movement desensitisation reprocessing is to desensitise your upsetting memories.

NICE suggests EMDR for:
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Psychology

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, emotions and behaviour. It offers you psychological interventions and mental wellbeing support. The objective of psychological therapy is to help you ease symptoms.

This woman has completely changed my life. She was able to help me quickly identify faults in my cognitive habits, and gave me simple and practical ways to make positive changes. I still have a way to go, but thanks to Marina I am happier than I have been in years. Non judgemental, understanding, and very easy to talk to. I've seen other therapists in the past but her relaxed professionalism was well worth the extra money and we made fast progress together. Thank you so much Marina.

Marina has many qualities as a therapist. She has helped me in so many ways, taught me a lot about myself and given me the skills to help with my mental health which I will carry with me forever. She is incredibly easy to talk to and her approach to therapy is gentle yet rewarding. She has also created a safe environment for the sessions which helped to put me at ease. I would recommend her to those who have never had therapy and even those whom have had therapy before.

Marina helped me to better understand the sources of my problems, to clarify my thinking as to where I wanted to be in a year's time and gave me strategies for remaining focused and being positive. A very good listener and motivator.
