Dawn was non-judgmental and encouraging. She was able to pose questions and scenarios that made me really think about my feelings and behaviours and was always keen to help me find positives in my situation. This was no glib response though, she did not attempt to minimise the emotions I was feeling, and some of the things we talked about took weeks for me to think about outside the sessions and assimilate into my daily life. Dawn is very approachable and I felt comfortable talking with her. She helped me identify triggers to my addictive behaviour and break a long standing cycle of negative experiences and thoughts. I would not hesitate to go back to her again if I felt I needed to and would not see it as a failure but as a guide to the next phase of my life.
